
May is Mental Health Awareness Month—a powerful reminder that taking care of your mind is just as important as caring for your body. In the midst of everyday stress, responsibilities, and constant demands, prioritizing mental health and wellness services can make a meaningful difference in how we feel, function, and show up in our lives..

Our first event kicks off on Wednesday, May 6 from 6:30–7:30 PM with Midweek Reset: Sound Bath Meditation. In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, join us at The Journey Within Wellness Center to relax into the calming tones of crystal singing bowls, where gentle sound frequencies support the nervous system, ease tension, and promote balance and clarity. Led by Dinah, founder of HIGH KI LIVING, this experience blends sound, meditation, and energy-based practices to help regulate stress and elevate your overall well-being.
Throughout the month of May, we’ll be offering special workshops to support your mental and emotional health. One of our upcoming experiences is a rejuvenating Yoga Class (date and time to be determined), designed to help you reconnect with your breath, release tension, and improve overall mindfulness. This guided session will provide a calming space to stretch, strengthen, and reset—leaving you feeling more grounded, centered, and refreshed.

In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month, join us for our Mindfulness Mind/Body Self-Care Enrichment Workshops & Discussion Groups at Journey Within Wellness Center. This empowering series is designed to help you build a daily, uplifting, and compassionate resilience routine to find greater peace and balance in your life. Through guided discussion and practical techniques, you’ll explore holistic approaches to wellness that support both mind and body.
Led by local expert Marilyn B. Spenadel, LCPC, Holistic Integrative Psychotherapist, these sessions offer a supportive space to learn, reflect, and grow.
